RRB or Railway Recruitment Board conducts various exams in multiple stages to hire for various posts in the Indian Railways. The Railway Recruitment Board JE Recruitment 2018 is also held with the same purpose. RRB JE exam 2018 will be carried out for recruitment of Junior Engineers, in various units of Indian Railways.

There will be an online exam in two stages for RRB JE 2018, the first stage will be a screening test while the Second Stage will determine the Final Merit List. The Selection Process for RRB Junior Engineer is based on three stagesRRB JE Selection Procedure 2019

  1. Computer Based Test  Stage I
  2. Computer Based Test Stage II
  3. Document Verification/ Medical Examination

RRB JE Exam Pattern 2019

RRB JE 2018 Computer Based Test(CBT I) will have Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) . A candidate needs to qualify the RRB JE CBT-I 2018 Exam to appear for the second stage of the CBT. The RRB JE Syllabus will be divided into four sections- Mathematics, General Science, General Awareness and General Intelligence and Reasoning.

The RRB JE Exam Pattern 2018 is given below, have a look at different sections, total no.of questions, respective marks and time allotted for the test.

2. Computer Based Test Stage I

Candidates, who qualify the RRB JE CBT-I 2018 will then have to take CBT-II. Like CBT-I, CBT-II will be Multiple Choice Questions type examination. Candidates qualifying the RRB JE CBT-II will then have to go through a Document Verification Process. Following are the details for the RRB JE CBT II 2018 exam

RRB JE CBT II 2018 will contain five sections. Each question in these sections carry 1 mark. The questions distribution for RRB JE CBT II is given below.

3. Document Verification

If you get selected in the Second Stage CBT as per the cut-off decided by the Recruitment Board, you will be called for Document Verification. A candidate must submit all the documents on the day of Document Verification, no extra time is allowed by RRB to submit the documents. Here is the complete list of the documents that a candidate needs to bring on the Document Verification day-

  • Character Certificate
  • Date of Birth proof
  • Degree Certificate
  • Caste Certificate(Wherever applicable)
  • Two self-attested colored photographs
  • Domicile Certificate(Wherever applicable)
  • Ex-Servicemen Certificate(Wherever applicable)
  • Railway Employee Certificate(Wherever applicable)
  • Widow/Divorce Certificate(Wherever applicable)

4. Medical Examination

To get selected in RRB JE Exam 2018, one needs to pass through a Medical Examination. Following is the categorization of the fitness standards

4. C-1 Physically fit in all respects
